Accessibility Service Usage

The "Navigation Bar for Android" app requires accessibility service permission to enable core functionality. Rest assured that the application does not access or collect sensitive data from your screen, nor does it share any data with third parties.

Enabling the service allows the application to support commands for press and long press actions, including back, home, recent actions, lock screen, popup notification, popup quick settings, popup power dialogs, toggle split screen, and taking a screenshot. Disabling the accessibility service may cause the main features to not work optimally.

Permissions Explanation:

• CALL_PHONE - necessary for long press action to directly dial someone in the contacts list.
• ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY - required for long press action to toggle Do Not Disturb mode on/off.
• ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, CHANGE_WIFI_STATE - used for long press action to toggle Wi-Fi on/off.
• BLUETOOTH, BLUETOOTH_ADMIN, BLUETOOTH_CONNECT - needed for long press action to toggle Bluetooth on/off.
• QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES - allows the long press action to open installed applications.
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - utilized for long press action to save screenshots.
• REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES - enables the menu uninstall option if the user activates device admin for the lock screen action on Android O and below.
• SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW - grants permission to show the navigation bar on the screen.
• VIBRATE - provides the option to vibrate when touching the navigation button.
• WRITE_SETTINGS - allows toggling of auto-rotate screen, lock portrait or landscape mode, toggle auto brightness, and adjust brightness with long press action.
